Nearly every vertical surface in Los Angeles reachable by human hands has been covered at one time or another by graffiti. Sometimes a wall gets painted over and over, as in this instance in downtown LA. Located just beneath the gigantic and epic work of Kent Twitchell, “Bride and Groom,” the contrast between his painstakingly detailed painting and these more fleeting, furtive words and names is indeed stark, but colorful.
