During the winter months, all along the edge of the granite-lined harbor at Lanesville, a village of Gloucester, Massachusetts, there are stacks and stacks of lobster traps. Colorful netting, plasticized wire, ropes, and connectors as well as the multi-layers of linearity make them immensely interesting.
