The Jardins d'Eyrignac were begun during the 18th century by Louis-Antoine Gabriel de la Calprenède. Remaining in the same family for all these years, the topiary gardens were re-created in the 1960s. Some of the views are quite magical, making it a very pleasant place to stroll. After bicycling up many hills, this was a perfect place to stop for a picnic lunch.
