LES CREVETTES
Just outside Place de Bastille in Paris, off of Rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine, is the Rue d'Aligre open market. What a fabulous place! Everything a foodie could possibly want in one place! But the Aligre market is just one of many markets throughout Paris, each one with its own cast of characters shouting and singing their wares. These crevettes are just waiting for a pot of boiling water, some butter, thyme, and perhaps some heavy cream.
