PAINTED SIGN, RIEC-SUR-BÉLON, FRANCE
On a wall in Riec-sur-Bélon, a town just to the east of Pont-Aven, I found this painted sign. Painted, peeled, painted again, peeled, and painted again, the layers peer through time and create a multidimensional poem of type and color.
