LA TOUR DE LA NUIT #4, PARIS
Part of a series of images of the Eiffel Tower at dusk using a hand held camera and a slow shutter speed. Many of the lights, both on the tower and on cars, are LED type lights which actually blink very rapidly. When the camera moves, the blinking lights make little dots of light in the image. Twisting the camera while the shutter is open creates a sweeping effect, the lights on the cars and the tower blurring into abstract streaks of light and color.
