CASCADE HEAD FOREST, OREGON
From the deck of a cottage in Cascade Head Ranch, the sitka forest stretches into a green unknown. Cascade Head juts out into the Pacific Ocean just north of Lincoln City, Oregon, and is home to a stunning coastal rain forest. The tall spruce and alder trees comb moisture out of the fog, the ever-present dripping creating a rhythm of the forest to be punctuated by the calls of flocks of Steller"s Jays.
