RUNNING STREAM
North of San Francisco, in the Point Reyes National Seashore, there is a small creek that runs down to the shore at Sculpted Beach. Where it runs across the beach, it is very shallow, only an inch or so deep, and as it runs over the smooth pebbles, the water undulations distort the light and image. You can almost hear the sound.
