ST. PAUL'S OVER THE MILLENNIUM BRIDGE, LONDON
London's new (at least new a few years ago) Millennium Bridge connects St. Paul's Cathedral with the Tate Modern museum on the south side of the Thames. I'm sure many other photographers have shot this view, but in the summer of 2006, it was new to me. The image of St. Paul's seeming to float above the river is quite a trick of careful architectural planning, and its near perfect bilateral symmetry just worked for me.
