STUDEBAKER SIGN ON CALLE TETUAN, SEVILLE
Seville, in 1929, was the site of a great World's Fair. Unfortunately, the Crash and ensuing Depression cut short Seville's fair -- it closed shortly after opening. But many of the sites and decorations from that time are still evident, such as this marvelous Mudejar-style tile billboard on Calle Tetuan, the main shopping street of old Seville. I like the passenger pointing to Rodin's The Thinker as if to say "Aren't we smart? We have a Studebaker!"
