Slovenian Shoes

In a store window in Koper, Slovenia, I saw some absolutely incredible shoes. I can’t really imagine what kind of event could possibly warrant the wearing of such shoes. They reminded me of an Italian VW Golf I saw years ago in Stresa on Lago Maggiore — each body panel was a different color, red, yellow, blue, green, aqua, orange, seemingly assembled from about six or seven different cars. But seeing these shoes loosened me up a bit so when it came time to get some new shoes for my daughter’s wedding, I got blue shoes with blue laces. Neat!
